Because Alive Dance Collective places such value on maintaining a safe space, we do not hold formal auditions. Instead, we invite prospective members to attend one of our rehearsals!

We expect strong technique and prioritize group cohesion. We pay attention to personality and look for members that fit the fun and respectful culture of Alive Dance Collective. Dancers must be willing to explore emotional themes and collaborate in a judgement-free environment.

If you are interested in dancing with us please email [email protected]. Please include a dance resume and recent videos of you dancing in a contemporary style. Alive typically rehearses on Sunday and Tuesday evenings in MBTA accessible locations. ​
